Het verblijf in ons huis in Frankrijk eindigt traditiegetrouw met een houtstook. Altijd heel spannend om de volgende ochtend, als het vuur gedoofd is, te zien wat de opbrengst is. Ik stook vaak planten mee, soms geeft dat een nog herkenbare afdruk, zoals hierboven de varen helder te zien is op het rechter uiltje.
